On Wednesday 24th September we will be dropping our prices by 7.5% at all of our pubs to mark Tax Equality Day. It sounds dull. It’s not. At present, all food and drink in pubs is subject to 20% VAT compared to supermarkets which benefit from 0% VAT.
In short, what this means is that the government is busy making your meal or night out more expensive than ever and it’s not fair.
We are taking a stand against this and asking for change. To show your support for Tax Equality Day and to enjoy a 7.5% saving on your bill, come and see us on 24th September and reap the rewards. It just might make the government think and heck – it’s a great excuse to go to the pub.
